ALT ACCOUNTS

Let's state the obvious: without alts this game would be empty. At least on Kong.

We can whine all we want, but this matter is out of our hands. Or Kano's for that matter. They ban alts = they lose players. I mean, on the long run, they might gain even more than they lose, but is it worth the risk, if the money comes flowing?

 

Well sure if ya playing on a platform that has no restrictions and is not a social platform people will make alts,which still is cheating and Lame, but on FB it is against their TOS also to have more than one account ( as well as a fake name ,or a gaming account , ) as well as Kano's and yes I have seens accounts on both banned. The easy ones to spot is when I get two or three game and FB requests from someone who either has the same Profile pic or another of them selves,and the requests are sent at the same time,and or someone posts their mini in WC ,which happens alot , now those get banned pretty quick,when they are reported.

 

that's an interesting statement. how many alts do you think that there are on kong? just wondering.

 

3 out of 10 players own at least 2 alt accounts. From what I know and what I've heard. Could be more, could be less.

i agree with Kano policy...but they can not enforce such a policy .. painfully obvious .. this is copy of what happens when we report accts..this is taken right from my in box on fb...sorry for language however i wish to reflect the truth..

dude i dont know what you did to pisses my girl off like that but she bought the account and she could do whatever she wanted to with it if that a problem i will come back to myspace and make it hardu

i turned that in amd Kano did nothing but a standard sorry.. So do what ever you want to do..turn in whoever but beware... Kano enforcement is a joke they say they have a no tolerance policy they could say a pony flies and poops sherbet and eats rainbows..doesnt make it true

i have much much much more evidence to back my position .. i refuse to share names here because in book it is a dead issue..the acct still exists and is active to this day..lol .. Dont fool yourself the only way to equal the fight is too level the playing field and allow what is already happening..

 

Two wrongs do not make a right, that I know . I have had accounts banned for violations and I have also reported others in the games, and nothing has happened and I know 100% they are in violation, other times I am not 100 % sure but pretty darn close, The problem sometimes lies with the fact that some cheaters are smarter and or lie thru their teeth to Kano when they do get frozen, and that is a fact. But for me whether or not someone cheats, does not make me want to cheat, cheating is just lame.

 

right so the ones that are 100% KNOWN TO BE IN VIOLATION AND NOTHING HAPPENS HAVE AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE OVER OTHERS.. iT IS THAT UNFAIRNESS WHICH NEEDS ADDRESSED.. IF KANO CAN NOT ENFORCE THEIR CODES AND AN UNFAIRNESS IS PERPETUATED BY A CODE .. HOW ARE WE AS PLAYER EXPECTED TO COMBAT THE UNFAIRNESS..KANO HAS TWO CHOICES MAKE ALTS LEGAL (EQUALIZING THE BALANCE) OR ENFORCE THE CODE EQUALLY( ALL THE INFORMATION I GAVE KANO WOULD HAVE STOOD UP IN A COURT OF LAW) THE ONLY THING KANO LOOKS FOR IS IP AND COOKIES.. CHANGE THE ENFORCEMENT TO INCLUDE OTHER INFORMATION AS THE BASIS FOR BANNING WOULD BE A START..BOTTOM LINE IT IS KANO'S CODE IT IS UP TO THEM TO FIGURE IT OUT.. BUT THIS HALF ENFORCEMENT JUST FRUSTRATES PLAYERS AND LEAVES A BAD TASTE IN EVERYONE'S MOUTH .. PERSONALLY I THINK ALTS HELP THE GAME AT HIGHER LEVELS THIS APP GETS BORING I WOULD LOVE TO START AN ALT AND ENJOY THE LOWER LEVELS AGAIN.... IF ONLY I COULD ...

 

THAT IS A VERY MATURE WAY OF THINKING .. AND CORRECT.. IT IS OUT OF KANOS HANDS ALREADY ...

 

I don't know the mechanics of their detection system, but from my limited knowledge I have to say again ,the cheaters are smarter than the detection and stay below the radar in many instances,but I still want to play my game honestly, regardless, and just hope things get better ,each week in the TGIF's Kano states the number of accounts frozen/banned, and the numbers have been increasing. In any game people cheat,I have played quite a few games from different companies and Kano is the only one that even does anything about it. That in itself is a plus.

 

all i can say is... wow. if cheating is worse in other games, i'm glad that i'm playing here. there are enough here, i sure don't want to play somewhere where there are even more!

 

Yup and at least Kano does" try "to keep things clean,where other companies could care less,let alone have the kind of communication we have.

 

have to take in consideration that some people get bored of their own accounts so they make an alternate account to start fresh and try another path.Sometimes.

 

Well then they need to tell kano to delete their first account, any excuse to make another is suspect.

 

Kirsten you act as if K-No can catch people... the only ones they catch are the ones who need alts to fight those who get away with it.... perpetuating the unfairness... make alts legal and above board cause there are alot of people who are tired of seeing nothing done and realize nothing will be done ... years and years have passed nothing is ever done so make it fair already

 

I know it is frustrating, it frustrates me to no end,I get tired of sending in tickets too,but I still do . But I still do not want to play my game that way and never will. I won't stoop to that level, and I have no desire to.

 

NO ONE IS ASKING YOU TO PLAY ANY CERTAIN WAY SWEETIE... I JUST WANT TO ENJOY THE SAME ADVANTAGES THAT OTHERS ENJOY,, THE HUNTING AND PASSING OF SYN WAR KILLS. THE LEVELING ADVANTAGES, THE LISTING ADVANTAGES. THE ADVANTAGES IN GETTING ACHIEVEMENTS SHOULD NOT BE RESERVED FOR AN ELITE FEW BUT SHARED WITH EVERY PERSON FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GAME .. ACTIVE ACCTS MAKE FOR A HEALTHIER GAME

 

I have taken it upon my poor self to not let close tickets when I report OBVIOUS alternate accounts ... every time one of the accounts list me and one of the others takes me down WITHIN ONE SECOND, I screenshot it and reply to ticket that I have had open for over a month. I have also told them that I WILL KEEP REPLYING to that ticket until they actually DO SOMETHING about the blatant violation of the TOS.

 

When you reply to a ticket is pushes it back in the queue,if I were you I would make new tickets.

 

Look lol no one ever has an alt...Just large families
