Bounty's

I don't know if this has ever been brought up before or not, So....I have never been one to Bounty people and the reason is everyone just heals right away so to me it's a waste of coins. But if it was changed a little I think it would be more interesting to do. So my idea would be when you Bounty someone they would not be able to heal for anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes or so! That way to me there is a "point" to putting a Bounty on someone & they are being punished or "put in jail" so to speak.

 

haha this is either a great idea or a horrible one...it pulled me in 2 diff directions as soon as i read it....i believe there should be more to a bounty than just having to heal again yet i dont think the timeout would go over well with most. giving this a 3 for now but you have a good beginning of an idea

 

How about a timeout after one hits a bounty TRAP? Now there is an idea. (the traps are useless as they are)

 

The amount of time was just an example, but when you can heal right away to me there isn't any point to it & a waste of coins. And maybe even the bigger the Bounty, the more time out. Just an idea to make it more worth while to me anyways! LOL
And like Diva said, you could also have it for the Bounty trap!

 

As you have the highest income/bounty probably your timeout will be the longest.

I don't like the idea, as I don't have extra 5-15 minutes only to wait until I can heal and continue playing.

 

I don't know if I have the highest or not, but yes, my time would be longer. LOL Just goes to show I am not being prejudiced! LOL

 

i think a timeout would just promote inactivity...if im in the beginning or middle of beating down a huge boss and i cant heal for x amount of time then guess what? im not sticking around to wait. and then theres the people that would know what youre doing and just keep bountying you to keep you from playing at all promoting even MORE inactivity....timeout, epic fail and will never happen

 

Yup Demonik, this is a horrible idea, especially coming from the OP that has roughly 700t base bounty and has 31 bounty kills under her belt, with 3 bounties placed LMFAO. What a joke, and your trying to come up with bounty ideas? If I ever got timed out for getting bountied, I'd quit. PS Kitty promoting inactivity in a game is never be a good idea. Whatever Jade, you wouldn't like anything that involves me. And I stated in my first post my reason why I don't bounty people. You want to waste your coins be my guest! LOL THAT's why YOU have a low bounty! LOL You always have to bring mine up, sounds just a little jealous if you ask me! And actually you are kind of creepy stalking me me the way you do!

To me it is totally pointless to bounty someone when they can heal right away. The point of a bounty should be to hinder that person in someway.
But if nothing changes so be it, no loss to me! I'll just raise my own bounty just so poor little Jade can cry about it! LOL

Another idea could be if you don't want to wait you pay a small fee to "get out of Jail" or "Bail" so to speak and then you could heal right away. Just something to make bounty's more interesting. Then I would be more likely to bounty someone if I knew there were some actual repercussions. In real life there are consequences for what you do either good or bad. Personally I just think it would make it more interesting.

 

more interesting for YOU and others with quads out the wazoo just waiting to keep numerous amounts of lower levels from playing just because you can, im sure kano would just love that. be realistic and think of something else. as i stated in my first reply this idea has merit, youre just going about it wrong is all

 

1 star from me. Any idea that promotes negative activity in any way isn't a good one. I'm not going to spend my own money for a "get out of jail free" card so someone with a base bounty of 100T+ can sit on top of me and keep bountying me over and over again until I have nothing left to spend. Many people will literally completely quit because of something like this. Also, bountying someone already has a penalty to it, since they lose XP for the first 6 times they're bountied that day, which can be a pain to get back again. This is a horrible idea.

 

As far as i see it ...When i bounty someone i get the satisfaction of adding another death to their stats....Some care about that stat and some don't..I'm one who doesn't...why would the person being bountied be the one punished with a timeout..?? ...I'm with the majority here ...Id quit the game.....with war mode , bosses , etc. to tend to its like slapping my hands for nothing....Maybe the one listing should get the time out ....either way i think its a bad idea to hold down a player for any length of time...VC will lose MORE players for sure... 1 star for me...

 

I still don't understand were people get their information on EXP loss from bounty, not even in the realm of 6 "talking VC only that is"

Say if you just leveled up and get bountied 10 times, you will lose EXP every single time listed getting knocked back 1/2 level.

Now let's say you were 1 EXP away to get to next level, they can list you 30 times and lose EXP every single bounty and get knocked back 1 1/2 levels. Don't believe me? Go do the math...

No one can tell were the are at exp, but come. If going to post something and try to state it as a fact get it right 1st.

No offense Kehvyn, but I've heard this same thing on 6 bounties before.

 

if you want to be realistic, how about losing your berserker in your elites for 5 mins or a strength drain or something like that

 

I'm good with that LOL, better exp to pound on peep's without having to undo it....

 

But if you can heal right away, what's the point? Seems to me there should be some kind of punishment, I don't know just what that punishment should be, but seems it should be something.. So you die, if you are any kind of player you have more kills than deaths so who cares? LOL

Well it was just an idea, no harm in putting it out there. I just think there should be something more to bounty's to make it worth while doing. As it is now, you put someone one bounty, & they heal right away and you bounty them again & they heal right away again. You are the one spending the coins not them! LOL Big whoopie! So what was the point? Like I said, to me it's a waste of coins. So I'll just continue to save mine to raise my own bounty, as it tells you to do in the game and let y'all spend your coins! LOL ;-)

From my experience I stopped losing experience after the 6th bounty placed on me, regardless of my experience, and on multiple occassions. Unless I wasn't paying attention, that's just how it's always been for me. I don't know Jade, maybe we're playing different games or something. Lol

 

Players loose Xp when they die, with every death 5% in Viking Clan, and if you consider that 99% or maybe 99.9% of the players cant do nothing against you with your big income and Bounty/Bounty Trap price for the first 5-10 bountys placed on them, as they need to save money for a few days or a week for just one trap or bounty on you. While you can bounty them 5 times with your 5 minutes income or less. I consider this a big punishment already.

You can try out this, place 1000 bountys in the next week and if you want to feel that bountying and dying its a punishment, make this experiment: lower your income/bounty price for 1 week to 2-3 trillions.

 

I don't mind spending it on bounties adds some fun to the game and I don't mind trapping, the only players I won't trap might be some that use it to go offline, so then they spent and I don't and get a rival list.

 

What am I wrong about? And just what exactly would make you so right I'd like to know. You seem to be very full of yourself. And what I call a personal attack is calling someone names which you did. And if you are mad because I did not include you in my "Thank you" it was because you went off topic.

I don't know what "truth" you are talking about, but if it's the way I play the game that you don't like, well too bad. I don't cheat so you have nothing to say. I do not ask you or anyone else for anything so if you don't like it then YOU deal with it. Any comment about the original idea like it or not is fine, anything else....well you can put it where the sun don't shine.

This was not a wrong or right subject, it was just an idea tossed out & no one likes it so that's the way it is, no big deal. But all the other stuff is what is wrong about it, it was wrong for you & Jade to go off of the subject matter period. I don't know what his or your problem is with my game, but deal with it. I don't owe you or him anything.
