Was looking at the help section (for chit's and giggles) and noticed the hyperlinks do not work. You only have the option to manually scroll down, instead of jumping to specific section.
My quick links work fine. I just used them to answer a question in another thread. Maybe it was a temporary issue when you tried to click on them before you opened this thread?
Hey Jades what browser are you using? I just tested this in both Firefox and Chrome and it is working fine on my end.
They also work on IE 11. If you are using an older version of IE, you may run into issues. I have had problems using older versions of IE before.
Newest version of Firefox and just checked, still not working. Smack on KanoPlay(Facebook Login) it works, but on regular Facebook it doesn't. I'm guessing why you got it to work. Hope that helps.
Yeah it was working fine on both FB proper and KanoPlay Server 1. I am using Firefox 27.0.1 Next time it happens can you please cut and paste what is in your Address Bar and PM it to me? Edit: and as soon as I send this I am informed FF 28 was just released. I'll give that a go in a few minutes.
Thanks Jades. I am not sure what is happening there. The only thing I can sometimes reproduce is if I am on the Help page and then click "settings" along the top and then either save or close that sometimes the help links will not jump properly. What version of FF are you using btw? I still haven't upgraded to 28 but I will do so later today. Regardless I will try to figure out what is going on here.
Firefox 27.0.1, I've talked to a few others that are experiencing same problem on FB only, using FF and Chrome.
Just ran across this thread, it is still happening on FB using FF 28.01, I just upgraded to FF 30 as well with same results. Works fine still on KanoPlay Server 1, just not on normal FB.
I know the game and doesn't effect me, but just chatted with few friends again (this is FB) It's not working. To have a section to help and not functioning is a no bueno..
Talked to Smack about this, seems like it's an issue that stems from how someone gets to the game on Facebook, regardless of the browser you're using. As you've experienced it works fine on KanoPlay (either server), but for some reason the Facebook canvas version just does not like it. As Smack stated above, he's aware of this and is looking into it.
A new player started mass messaging in World Chat how game works. Told him to use help tab and it still doesn't work. This is not a big deal to long term players, but for newb's it should work with out huge amounts of scrolling to a particular question. This is Facebook VC
