The Elite/Legendary versions of the even-stat warriors also have even stats so it wouldn't skew crafting that much, unless I'm misunderstanding the image. This is currently something we're looking into separately, so if I hear anything relevant from the devs I'll post it. @Terminator: ring ring?
My guess is that this is a database thing. In one case the warriors are sorted only by their attack value and in the other by their defense. If no secondary sorting option is specified in the query, the warriors with the same attack value will be returned in an order as the database likes, apparently a random order for us.
Well as far as I've been able to determine, the way the list is pulled depends on whether you're attacking or defending and fills it out from there using the active stat for bias (attack items are listed with greater importance if you are attacking and vice versa for defending). So, as Gazember said, it's a database thing and it has to do with how the game fills out the list depending on what you're doing. The tie-breaker in these situations is the stat that is not active (so Defense, in the case of you attacking someone) and when that stat is even, that's when the outcome depicted in your image happens. Hope that makes sense, as I stated above we're currently working on a task to get this list to generate in a more readable manner because a lot of players use it to inform their crafting decisions (such as yourself). I've added this thread to our on-going task.
i just noticed it myself today....most likely a fluke cause there have been times it was the way youve posted on my strength list and then it was the way your last post shows and this was a long time ago....it appears to be random if you ask me...sometimes we get lucky and it looks all neat and whatnot haha
The devs might have rolled out a sneaky fix and not told me. I'll ask around, but you might have just gotten lucky.
This was not from attacking or defending. It was from PROFILE battle strength all 64/64 warriors. I don't believe that is what Gazember actually meant. "returned in an order as the database likes, apparently a random order for us" It's not that big of deal to me as I've noticed it, but being a gamer such as yourself Mitch wouldn't you like to utilize every opportunity you can for strength? This will not help me as I do pay attention, but helping others to craft it becoming a pain in my arse, because of a little over site. Not only is it deceiving on battle strength tab, it also goes into inventory page as well as per this new picture.
im gonna go out on a limb here and say this is an unfixable problem. i dont think the code is written to accommodate people that cant read and do simple math (a smartass overstatement but thats just me ;p) and to try and make it so that the craftable items are always at the bottom might take a bit more than id like to see the devs taking their time on...just my 2 cents and as always, i could be wrong
Only with the values of 64 attack / 64 defense we have so many warriors, at higher lvls they avoided this, and gave for every one different values, and there will be no more confusions. When my last warriors had only 64 attack/defense, I crafted elite healers until my last ones dropped below. Ex: Elite Healer Cleric 80 Attack 80 Defense Paladin Sage 72 Attack 72 Defense Legendary Healer Cleric 92 Attack 92 Defense Warbird 75 Attack 74 Defense Elite Paladin Sage 90 Attack 90 Defense
